Paying By Credit or Debit Card:

Discounts are determined simply by the total amount of the order.

10% Discount - If the Product Value of your order is £150 or more.
15% Discount - If the Product Value of your order is £300 or more.

ALL customers can benefit significantly because of the great flexibility to qualify for a discount. You can have any mix of products, and any mix of colours. So long as the Product Value of your order is £150.00 or more, you get at least 10% discount.

This Discount applies to ALL our products, including Electroplated Snap-Caps, for telephone, fax or e-mail sales, as well as counter sales (for customers lucky enough to be not too far away!)

Our Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) is 1,000 caps for all the plastic caps.  Don't panic yet.... prices are from as little as £9.60 for a bag of 1,000 caps.

For Electroplated Snap-Caps, our MOQ is 100 caps and washers (bases).  Electroplated Snap-Caps can also be purchased in quantities of 250 caps and 500 caps.

Unfortunately not!  Our printed & website Colour Charts should only ever be used as an approximation of the actual colour of our caps.  This is due to limitations in the printing process used for our brochures, and the calibration of even the best computer.

COURIER COMPANIES WE USE:  Most UK Domestics dispatches are sent with APC Couriers and most Regional/International dispatches are sent with UPS. Although this may be more expensive than other alternatives, it allows us to quickly trace shipments if there is a delivery problem, and to provide customers with Proof of Delivery if necessary. Ultimately, this higher level of service guarantees fewer delays and a lot less headaches for everyone.

ROYAL MAIL: Due to repeated issues with Royal Mail failing to deliver in a timely manner, until further notice we are unable to continue offering these services.  All deliveries will be using courier services (APC or UPS) for the time being. 

For deliveries to the EU and elsewhere:  Delivery charges vary considerably with package weight and destination.   Please contact us for delivery charges, and we will lookfor the most cost- effective method of delivery to you.

We regret that we can only dispatch orders to recognised premises of the customer/cardpayer.  This means that we cannot dispatch to worksites and/or 3rd-party addresses.

Deliveries to private addresses:  Courier services may require a signature when delivering your order.  Deliveries to a residence can experience problems and delays if no-one is available to accept your parcel.  A 'Failure to Deliver' may require your travelling to the Courier's local depot to collect your order.

Even if there is any chance you will be away from your premises or on part of the property where you may not hear your doorbell, even for just a few minutes, we recommend you consider:

• having your order delivered to a trusted neighbour who will be home when you are not (please let us know at the time of placing your order, or leave a note on your door, where the courier driver will see it)
• Giving us an alternative address, where your package can be signed for and be safe until you can collect it.  Such places may include:
  • your employer's address
  • a local business (if you know the owner well), including village shop, garage or pub

 

This depends on where you are located! Because we keep stocks of all products and colours, we are able to offer same-day dispatch on better than 90% of orders received by 3.30pm. Occasionally we do run out of some colours if we have an unexpected run of orders, but because we are the manufacturer, we are usually able to make your order within a few days.

Deliveries to UK mainland addresses are next business day delivery. Customers may also take advantage of 1030am and 1200 (Noon) priority deliveries.  See the Delivery Charges & Policy (immediately above) for details.

Other delivery areas may take longer.

As company has no control over the use to which its goods are put, it makes no warranty expressed or implied with respect to the goods except that it will replace any goods found to have manufacturing defects. Company does not assume liability for proper installation of its products nor labour costs involved in replacement or repair.

You must contact us first to obtain a Return Authorisation - we cannot accept claims otherwise.

Goods with manufacturing faults, transit damage, or which have been incorrectly dispatched, will be replaced free-of-charge.

 

Refund & Exchange Policy

Goods may be returned or exchanged within 30 Days of receipt provided packs are unopened and in original condition. A Handling/Re-stocking Fee of £10.00 or 8% (whichever is greater) of returned goods, plus freight costs, may be charged at the company’s discretion. Please call us to arrange Return Authorisation. No claims will be recognised without prior authorisation from us.

• Claim must be made within 30 days of receipt
• Packs must be unopened and in original condition
• A Handling/Re-stocking Fee of £10.00 or 8% (whichever is greater) plus applicable freight costs may be charged.

At Pro-Dec, we have made a decision not to adopt a formal Quality Assurance program such as ISO9000.

In our dealings with such certified companies, it is apparent that Certification does not guarantee a better standard of product or service, only that an effort will be made to re-supply the product or service. Certification also requires a substantial paperwork trail, which for a small company like ours, creates a substantial increase in costs which you, the customer, will ultimately have to bear.

Instead we have an in-house quality system, developed over more than 35 years. This system encompasses all aspects of our production and administration, from the ordering and receipt of raw materials to random testing of manufactured parts and finally order dispatch . This system is being constantly modified in response to changing requirements, and in many respects is to a higher standard than the formal Assurance standards.

As part of our quality system, we have our Product Warranty which guarantees replacement of any of our products which are not of an acceptable quality. Please note that because there are an infinite number of possible applications of our range of cover caps, we cannot guarantee that the caps will work on, or be appropriate for, all applications. We are however happy for you to consult with us about your individual needs.

We realise that occasionally problems will occur. In many instances, we may not even be aware that you have a problem (such as the delivery of your order) unless you tell us. It is our desire to provide the best product and service possible, and your feedback is vital to this process. We will make every effort possible to leave you satisfied with the result and happy to do business with us again.
