Updated Delivery Prices
01 April 2014
As most SME owners and managers would know, courier & Royal Mail prices continue to rise (seemingly unfettered). Even with variable Fuel Levies, many of the courier prices we monitor seem to jump 5-6% most years. We can’t help but wonder what costs are actually rising, when fuel (the main cost) is external to that part of their price structure?
Still, most of our customers agree that a reliable service is the most important consideration.
Following a series of increases from our carriers, we can no longer absorb these increases and have had to raise our delivery prices. Factoring in the significant differences in the cost of different services, we have had to modify the structure of our charges to accurately reflect the costs we pay. Where cost-effective, we have sought to offer an alternative service (Royal Mail Special Delivery).
Customers ordering more than £100 (excl VAT) receive free delivery to UK Mainland addresses. Customers in other locations will also benefit as the applicable Delivery Charge will be reduced by an equivalent value (currently £7.75).
You can find the different delivery options on our website Help & FAQ Section (click on 'Delivery Charges & Policy' – about 2/3 down the page)
